DAY 1 ANKARA
Arrive in Ankara. Orientation tour of the city. Overnight at your hotel ( ANKARA ). [ D ]

DAY 2 ANKARA
This morning, we visit the Ancient Citadel of the city, surrounded by old city walls. There is a nice panoramic view of the city from the top. Walk along the narrow streets inside the citadel and enjoy old traditional houses from the turn of this century. A few minutes of walking down the citadel will bring us to the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations which was built as caravanserai back in Ottoman times and now houses a nice collection of archaeological findings from all around Turkey. After lunch on the citadel, proceed to the Mausoleum of Ataturk, the resting place for the founder of modern Republic of Turkey and considered by many as the father of all Turks. Dinner and overnight at your hotel ( ANKARA ). [ B L D ]

DAY 3 ANKARA
Excursion to the ancient Hattusas, the capital of the great Hittite Civilization that once ruled all over the near and middle east area, competing the Egyptian  civilization. Our visit will include the religious center of Hittites at Yazilikaya, a close distance from Hattusas. In the same area, we visit another site of Hittites at Alacahoyuk with impressive city gate and lion sphinxes to the sides of the gate. Return to Ankara. Dinner and overnight at your hotel ( ANKARA ). [ B L D ]

DAY 4 TRANSFER 
Check-out and transfer.  [ B ]
