 | | Cappadocia is a surrealistic area of Turkey, covered with soft volcanic rock from eruptions of volcanoes millions of years ago. A large Christian community grew in this area and built churches and monasteries decorated on the walls with frescoes and murals. This area is considered as one of the earliest Christian centers that gave birth to many Christian saints.
